But God...

ree

I want you to follow me.

"But God, I am only a child. How can I make that commitment?"

You just have to trust me.

"But God, I can't see you. How do I know you're really there?"

Have faith. You can feel me in your heart, and if you read your Bible, you will get all the proof you need.

"But God, the Bible is so long and hard to understand."

It doesn't matter how long it takes, but once you start reading, you will get the answers you seek.

"But God, I haven't even asked any questions."

I know your heart my child. Read my words, commit them to heart and go out into the world and make disciples.

"But God, how can I get followers for you? I am just me, a nobody."

The Holy Spirit lives in you; therefore, you are somebody.

Why do you follow a god you can't see?

"Because no one can guide me through life, but God."

How do you know you can trust this god?

"No one has truly ALWAYS been there for me, but God."

Why do you read that old book?

"Because no one has the instructions for this world, but God."

Isn't the Bible confusing?

"How and when we understand the Bible isn't up to us, but God."

How did you become so confident in your faith that you can just go openly talk to others about it?

"It hasn't been me speaking to you, but God."

When we change our perspectives, we can change our lives as well as the lives of others. Don't question God. Don't argue with Him. When he gives you instruction, take it and run with it. Know that nothing in this world will ever make sense or go right if we leave it up to ourselves. We can't fix this world, but God can through us. We just have to look at things from his view and not our own. "But God" shouldn't start the question; it should be our answer.
